NORDIC ART CO.OPERATION: 

Nordic Art Cooperation er et samarbejde mellem kunstnere fra Nordiske lande. Samarbejdet går ud på at kunstnerne byder velkommen til et andet Nordisk land med en fælles udstilling i eget hjemland og omvendt. Det er meningen at samarbejdet skal fremme venskaber mellem kunstnere i de Nordiske lande og foreløbigt er der tale om den første venskabs udstilling Danmark - Finland hvor skulptør og designer Kristian Venäläinen fra Finland og billedkunstner Lotte Kjøller fra Danmark er curatorer i eget land. I disse 2 udstillinger skal lige mange danske og finske kunstnere være repræsenteret. Der skal også være dygtige mænd og kvinder fra begge lande nogenlunde ligeligt fordelt. Dygtige kunstnere til et godt udstillingssted. Vi kalder udstillingen med vilje Nordic fordi vi er fra nordiske lande og fordi så kan vi senere åbne udstillingen op for andre nordiske lande hvis det bliver en succes. Og der er faktisk mange udstillinger i alle de nordiske lande til sammen.

 I øjeblikket er vi ved at finde kunstnere til udstillingen. Der vil blive tale om et samarbejde hvor de kunstnere der er vært for udstillingen i eget land hjælper med at arrangere, huse nabolandets kunstnere og søge legater. Der findes i begge lande særlige legater til Nordisk samarbejde. 

HISTORIE:

Sommer 2019 var billedkunstner Lotte Kjøller i hele juli på arbejdsophold /residency i Finland på kunstcentret Järvilinna sammen med en skrivende ven. Järvilinna er et område i Finland - ja nærmest en park - hvor mange finske kunstnere bor og arbejder med deres kunst. Det er ejet af en fond. Der findes sådanne 3 steder i Finland. Den gamle herregård Järvilinna ligger i Leppävesi, Laukaa, i et malerisk sølandskab. Her bor og arbejder finske Kristian Venäläinen og et venskab opstår. Dette udmunder i et samarbejde med billedkunstner Lotte Kjøller fra Danmark om en udvekslings udstilling i hvert sit hjemland.

NORDIC-ART CO.OPERATION:

Nordic-Art Co.operation is a collaboration between artists from Nordic countries. The collaboration is to welcome the artists to another Nordic country with a joint exhibition in their own home country and vice versa. The collaboration is intended to promote friendships between artists in the Nordic countries and for the time being this is the first friendship exhibition Denmark - Finland where sculptor and designer Kristian Venäläinen from Finland and visual artist Lotte Kjøller from Denmark are curators in their own country. In these 2 exhibitions equal numbers of Danish and Finnish artists must be represented. There must also be equally divided men and women from both countries. Skilled artists for a good show. We intentionally call the exhibition Nordic because we are from Nordic countries and because later we can open the exhibition to other Nordic countries if it becomes a success. And there are actually many exhibitions in all the Nordic countries together. 

Currently we are in the process of finding artists for the exhibition. There will be a collaboration where the artists hosting the exhibition in their own country help to arrange, house the artists of the neighboring country and apply for grants. There are special grants for Nordic cooperation in both countries. Should you join and are finnish artist? 

HISTORY: 

In the summer of 2019, visual artist Lotte Kjoeller spent all July on work / residency in Finland at the Järvilinna art center together with a writing friend. Järvilinna is an area in Finland - yes almost a park - where many Finnish artists live and work with their art. It is owned by a fund. There are 3 such places in Finland. The old manor house Järvilinna is located in Leppävesi, Laukaa, in a picturesque lake landscape. Here, Finnish Kristian Venäläinen lives and works and a friendship ensues. This culminates in a collaboration with visual artist Lotte Kjoeller from Denmark on an exchange exhibition in each of his home countries.
